Raised in Chillicothe, Texas, a rural agricultural town in North Central
Texas, Brent had the opportunity to attend many farm, market & registered cattle and estate auctions growing up. While
serving as the Texas FFA Vice President his first year out of high school he had the dream of becoming an auctioneer. After
relocating to Lubbock, Texas to attend Texas Tech University
he began his path towards his dream by working for Ken Peters Auctioneers selling weekly estate and antique auctions.
In 1997 he married Ashley Hollinshead a native of Lubbock.
Currently Ashley stays busy working part-time as a marketing director for a large agricultural real estate firm, raising their
daughters, Savanna and Pressley while completing her Master's Degree in Biblical Studies from Asbury Seminary.
Brent started as a full time auctioneer in 2000 after completing Gregg School of Auctioneering. Brent worked for
local auto auctions and other auctioneers around the South Plains & Panhandle of Texas
Feeling the need for more professional instruction Brent contracted the services of Neal Davis as his personal
auctioneering trainer. Neal is a World & International Auctioneer Champion from Beebe,
Arkansas. With Neal's instruction, Brent was able to perfect his auction chant
into the smooth, rythmatic form that it is today.
Brent spends most of his time conducting contract auctions that range from fundraisers to large tracts of real estate.
